COVID-19: A Letter from our Leadership

Dear Friends, Clients, and Colleagues of NanoImaging Services,

With multiple programs in progress to find a vaccine or cure for COVID-19 and other critical diseases, we are operating at full capability as an essential business.  As the largest commercial cryoEM laboratory in North America, we are determined to keep research moving.  All of our Krios, Glacios, and T12 programs remain on schedule.

Our microscope operators and sample prep technicians are operating in shifts so that our instruments can continue running 24/7, while our on-site employees work at a safe distance from each other.  Our other employees, the majority of our team, are working from home, but in close collaboration via teleconferencing and other collaborative software.

Current clients can continue to send samples under normal protocols.  We are also accepting and storing samples in advance for clients concerned about future access to their own laboratories.  Those using our Partnership Programs can monitor their imaging and data from their offices or home.  Please email or call if you expect changes, or if there are additional services we can provide to keep your work moving forward as you wrestle with changes in your labs.

Our Glacios laboratory expansion in Woburn, Massachusetts is also considered essential, and we are on schedule for an opening in June.  Boston area clients can begin projects in San Diego and transition them to their local laboratory this Summer.

New clients and programs are welcome.  Although we will not be visiting client sites or hosting guests in our laboratory, our team is available via teleconference to explain our capabilities and discuss your needs.  We are providing priority scheduling to those working on COVID-19 programs.

We will get through this with focus, hard work, and careful thought,

Clint Potter, Founder and CEO
